Giving Back
The mission of the UPL Alumni Association (UPLAA) is to advance the interest and promote the welfare of the university and its alumni. Gifts to UPLAA provide vital support for alumni and student programs and help current and future students achieve their educational goals through undergraduate leadership scholarships.
Each year UPLAA awards regional scholarships to incoming freshmen and transfer students who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential. These scholarships make a difference in the lives of many UPL students.
Giving back to UPL is an important Neverland tradition, a huge part of Neverland Pride and one reason why our alumni are so special. A donation to UPL helps your alma mater, California and the world by:
- Increasing the value of your degree by building the university’s endowment and helping the UPL pursue bold and innovative initiatives that have helped the institution remain one of the top 10 public universities in the country.
- Providing UPL students with everything from scholarships and emergency aid to stellar faculty and state-of-the-art classrooms and labs.
- Helping advance UPL’ world-class academic research that is revolutionizing cancer treatments, feeding malnourished children throughout the world, advancing autism research, establishing an international standard for shelter medicine, managing water systems during drought, improving global food security and so much more.

Donations are distributed according to your wishes and are overseen by the UPL Foundation — a nonprofit organization that plays an essential role in sustaining and enhancing the excellence of UPL.
