Volunteer

Help strengthen the UPL community by volunteering. We have many opportunities throughout the year:

Contact us at alumni@university.edu or (123) 456-7890 to get started.

Become an UPL Advocate

You can stay involved with UPL with a minimal time commitment by becoming an UPL Advocate. Our UPL Advocates are ambassadors for the university to our state and federal elected officials.

We will keep you informed as issues related to the UPLs move through the legislative process and invite you to events, town halls and forums. When public policy issues arise that significantly affect the campus, we will request your participation in writing letters or making phone calls to your elected representatives. As an UPL Advocate, you may also visit state legislators in their district offices to talk about UPL’ impact on the region.

UPL Advocates also participate in the biennial UPL Day legislative conference in Neverland or the annual Joint Higher Education Day where advocates from all three segments of California public higher education make legislative visits and discuss the importance of public higher education.

Contact the Office of Government and Community Relations at (123) 456-7890 to join the UPL Advocates program.
